GMail - red (not being checked)

Starting earlier today, first one, then both of my Gmail accounts turned red in X-Notifier; meaning they're no longer being checked.

Clicking on them is no issue - I'm immediately taken to my inbox (so I'm staying "logged" in); but the mailboxes aren't being checked, evidently.

Yes happening with me too with my Gmail accounts all in red and not checking the emails

Same here, I have it checking 3 accounts and all red starting today/yesterday.

It used to fail after browser restart untill I manually logged in to each account once, then after that it would work fine until I restarted the browser again.  Now it just doesn't work at all for checking for new emails, but I can still click on each one and it logs me in to the proper account.

happening with me too with my Gmail accounts all in red and not checking the emails  and x-notifier neo has same problem.

Clicking on them is no issue - I'm immediately taken to my inbox (so I'm staying "logged" in); but the mailboxes aren't being checked, evidently." I signed out and back in with no change.

Thunderbird remains accepted by gmail.

Fixed in X-notifier Neo 2.2.8 and X-notifier 4.2.21.

Old url for message count does not work anymore.

New version uses different urls.

Because of this, some features(inbox only, include spam,..) does not work in X-notifier.

I recommend to use X-notifier Neo.

How do you update? I have 4.2.20 and Chrome says it's up to date.

Release to Chrome Web Store takes more time than to Firefox Web Store. Your Chrome will update X-notifier...

None of my Gmail Accounts show up in Xnotifier or Xnotifier NEO. I'm using Chrome. Unfortunately, Chrome hasn't updated either extension yet if you've updated them. How do you force an update of the extension without removing and reinstalling? For whatever reason I'm not automatically downloading .21. I'm stuck at .20. Help!

One by one all my gmail accounts disappeared from the drop-down list in in both x-notifier and X- notifier Neo.
What's the fix?

Extension X-notifier (for Gmail™, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL...) for Google Chrome was working great until yesterday, but now all my Gmail email accounts are shown in red and not checking (but clicking on it takes me to the accounts). Yahoo email accounts working well.

I think problems occurred after update Google Chrome to Version 87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (x86_64).

Any suggestions, please?

Chrome finally updated it to 2.2.8 overnight and working again.

Jeroen is right about the Chrome web store being slow.  Took almost 48 hours after the Firefox update was available.

Thanks!

I'm still on X-Notifier 3.5.x because of the Palemoon compatibility.

Is there any chance of Neo being backported to support Palemoon?

Palemoon keeps losing important extensions for which there are no replacements... Though it keeps the possibility of using the old XUL powerhouse extensions like Flashgot and DTA (which are remarkably functional even though not updated for many years)

Also, Rambler.ru account is red and not being checked too, apparently...
