Recently I made a fresh installation on Windows 10 (x64) Enterprise eddition.
Installed fresh Firefox 57 (x64) and had NOT MADE any change to Firefox. So I was using with default settings with Tracking protection enabled ONLY in Private browsing.
Installed XN 4.1.4 and was not able to add my accounts from neither provider.
That's it! :(
A little bit later came out XN 4.1.5 version, so the story continues as:
Legacy version of xnotifier would follow the system colors so there was no problem reading any of the menus with Windows High Contrast. New version however, does not follow the system colors for the texts, so they remain black while the background turn black, and therefore you can;t read anything in xnotifier settings or menu.
I know this is a redundant question and I did search, but found old answers that aren't relevant. I stopped using FF about V.55, because it is just too messed up now. Switched to Chrome.
I had an old copy of my PWs from before FF stopped automatically saving them, but it is missing a few, and I can't remember them. I don't want to have to change them...yet again (Gmail just made me change them for some reason I cannot fathom.)
Is there anywhere these PWs are stored on the computer so I can find them? TIA for any help you can give me.
After updating Firefox to version 57, all 3 of my email accounts are red. (2 Gmail, 1 Yahoo) Clicking on them will successfully take me to my email accounts manually but it will no longer indicate new messages or allow me to run Check Now. Everything was working fine in 56.0.2 before the update. Tried reinstalling x-notifier, running a cleanup with CCleaner, rebooting, nothing. I've quite enjoyed this add-on for some time now and hope someone knows how to get it working again.
First off I want to say I have been using X- Notifier for about 5 years and I LOVE IT.
Just recently I started having a problem with my AOL emails. I have 2 AOL accounts and while I am typing out an Email I think X-Notifier logs me out so it can check my Email in my other AOL account.
Then when I get ready to send the Email I am typing I end up becoming " logged out" and the Email I am working on can NOT be sent. The page freezes and I get a pop up saying that I am no longer logged in.
I finally dumped firefox because of the stupid automatic update which cause to upgrade to the newest stable version, now not supporting flash plugin anymore. And anyways chrome is now faster (at least in my opinion). So I switched to chrome (in incognito mode) and now also using the newest x-notifier version 4.1.4 on chrome 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu.
I keep getting prompted continually to download Firefox 57 Beta. I don't want to do it if there will be any issues with the latest X-Notifier.
I have about 6 different Yahoo and Hotmail email accounts. Although I seemed to have lost one of the features I really liked in the latest X-Notifier update (which was to have my account email names all show on my desktop in a "toolbar") X-notifier is a super great add-on and I don't want to mess anything up by updating Firefox. Especially since this FF update is still in Beta.
I have been having a nightmare with the FF changes, just updates my add ons and made themistake of updating x mail notifier, it wiped out all my emails andpasswords and took away the tool bar andone have nay idea where the tool bar went? I can manually put the emails back in
Is X-notifier still have chance to support IMAP anymore?
It seems that starting from 4.x, IMAP support is dropped. If X-notifier cannot supports IMAP anymore, is there any other firefox addon can do the same on IMAP account and compatible with FF 57?
