What is working correctly: 1) When new mail arrives, the X-notifier icon counter correctly displays the number of new messages; 2) When moving over the icon, the accounts with new mail including the numbers of new messages are correctly displayed.
What is going wrong: Rightclicking the icon shows the roll-down menu with all accounts, the ones with new messages in bold, but the number of new messages in the accounts is missing.
I do not see this behaviour when running under Windows (WinXP, Win7)
I noticed on one of my computers version 3.3.4 is installed but on others 3.3.3 is the most up to date version even after a manual update check. just curious why?
since a few days my IMAP email is in red status "not checked". It had been working fine for a long time. I can log in to my email in web interface. I have deleted and re-added the account to x-notifier and still doesn't work.
I've noticed the last week or two that I'm only seeing new mail notifications when I first start Firefox. I'll be at my computer for an hour or two with no mail notifications, then I click "Check Now" and have 10 new messages. I double checked that all my email accounts are set to check for new mail at startup and every 10 minutes.
Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions on how to resolve other than removing and reinstalling Xnotifier?
The Hotmail script does not work any longer and Hotmail account remains in grey.
The Hotmail adress is nowadays redirected automatically by Microdsoft to the oulook mail. The email adress works perfectly when using the web adress without using X-notifier
I have tried to use the outlook scipt proposed by Rainer Schuler.
I use yahoo messenger on my Blackberry and I'm often getting signed out 'because you signed on on a different computer or device'.
I've tracked this to the email check on my Yahoo account performed by X-notifier. It doesn't happen every time, but will sign me out most times. Is there a way to have X-notifier check my yahoo mail for new messages without signing me out of Yahoo messenger on my phone?
