4.0.2 - Only Yahoo account works, and then not reliably

I have exactly one Yahoo account, exactly one Hotmail account, and multiple Yahoo accounts. The Yahoo account is the only one that actually works, and then only if the "@yahoo.com" suffix is included. Every other account shows up red in the output-list, whether or not I include the "@gmail.com" suffix (I cannot remove the "@hotmail.com" suffix).

Also, I sent a test email to my Yahoo address from a Gmail account. When I clicked on the notification when it appeared, it opened about ten different Yahoo tabs to the same account.

Not only did the automatic update wipe out all 9 of my existing email & yahoo addresses, it won't allow me enter more than 2 addresses.  Any other attempts at additions are ignored.  AND, if I read another complaint that we were supposed to save/import our info.... WHERE/WHEN was that notification/warning SENT TO US?  Please fix this ASAP.

I take it that you do not have an Exported backup?  At least two of us have FF 50+ with X-Notifier 4.02 working fine, within its new limitations (no more pop3/imap/custom scripts).  You don't have to use Neo.  For the time being, you can continue to use 3.5.23 (if you turn off the X-N add-on update setting ...not the 'global' add-ons update setting).  At some point, Firefox will force compliance with their new API on their newer versions, then you'll need 4.x.

In my case, the "exported backup" has nothing to do with it. I'm getting the same problem, which is completely different from what Kmail-mail is having if you actually read my original post, whether I use an imported backup or manually add my accounts back in.

And my reply was mostly to Kmail... since he rather vehemently asked where the 'notification' was.
If we don't watch the XN-forum script notifications, we dont 'get the memo'.
I can't help persisting to ferret out problems. or... you both could  revert to 3.5.23 (which may recover old accounts) and turn off the specific XN add-on 'automatic updates' setting... until we're forced to use the newer versions or stay with the old, which will happen when Mozilla/Firefox enforces compliance with its new API for addon developers.

Installed the new version 4.0.2. with 6 gMail accounts and 1 outlook.com account.
In FF, I have default the privacy option "Use Tracking Protection" on Enabled.
Result is that only account from outlook.com is counting if there are new/unread mails. The gMail account don't work (keeps red)
But, is I disable the Tracking Protection in FF, and click on Check Now in XN, the gMail accounts are checked and I got counters.
Switch beack to Enabled, result the gMail account are not checked and count anymore.

Perhaps this can the reason that it work on some users and not on other.

My Gmails are checked even with "Use Tracking Protection..." turned 'on'.
Doesn't matter if the Block List is set to "Disconnect.me basic..." or "Disconnect.me strict".
However, that doesn't mean other people won't have a problem with it, I guess... perhaps there is another setting or addon in combination with Tracking, that causes conflict on your system.  Hard to figure...
