Gmail & Yahoo accounts randomly not checking

I've been checking six Gmail, five Yahoo!, and one Hotmail account for years. For some weeks now, X-notifier will "not check" one or several randomly. Forcing a 'check now' may or may not check the missed email account as will the next cycle, or reloading the browser.

I too have used X-notifier for years.. on Firefox primarily; not on Chrome, until recently.  I, too, have noticed the randomness in the checking of Gmail accounts. I have looked ot make sure the passwords were correct and they were. I have deleted the account reset X-notifier then readded the account - only to have it ignored again - after a brief period of regular checking.

I have filed another Trouble Report Topic - that may have an association with this - in that the lastest Firefox update  48.0.1  wiped-out my entire X-notifier database. I am using Firefox Sync - just recently engaged the service.  I am not sure if the X-notifier wipe-out was due to Firefox update, Sync or X-notifier not being on the up-tick with Firefox update.  Too many variables to be sure which is the culprit .. or not.

But obviously, something does seem to be amiss with the Firefox/X-notifier interface.  We who use X-notifier MANY TIMES each day, certainly hope this is remedied quickly.

I got a new laptop. Set up X notifier exactly the same on new on as on the old one. On my old one it checked all of my accounts perfectly. 2 yahoo and 1 gmail.

On this new laptop 1 yahoo is greyhound out the gmail is greyound out. Neither of them will check automatically. And if you click to check them manually you still have to enter in the username and password to log it.

What makes this frustrating as hell is the other yahoo works fine. It's not greyed out, it automatically checks, and you don't have to manually log in to check.

All 3 accounts set up the same way.

Fix this please. Otherwise this add on is completely useless. I can just go manually log into my accounts and not have a useless add on in my browser.

Right out of the box and every email account checked. Nice. So far so good.
