Problem with X-notifier and AdBlock addons

Hi,

This is weird. I have firefox 26 for a while and since a new version of x-notifier i don't know if it's the latest or another one before but my adblock icon disapear from the tool bar. And i'm no longer able to add it anymore.

The option have been disable in ABP options.

But when i uninstall x-notifier and reinstall adblock, now the icon is back. And it's working perfecly. I think there were a conflict beetween these 2.

I start a new firefox profile a clean one and install adblock it's working ok. But when i install x-notifier the icon disapear.

thank if you have a solution for it.

Probably easy:

1. Rightclick toolbar and choose Customize... to get the Customize Toolbar window.
2. Follow instructions and click the Done button (drag the window up when it's to big).

Hi,

I cannot drag drag it bcause is not in the windows. It disapear.

tx.

Yep, that's a conflict.

Did you try to install XN first in a new profile, restart Firefox, and then install ABP?
(I'm not trying to be smart here. Sometimes you get lucky with stupid solutions)

I disabled mine than enabled now it's back on my firefox browser again but make sure you refresh your browser ,i had the same thing happen to me

the same problem  for me there is a conflict beetween them , adblockplus icon button don't work well.

i am using x-notifier 3.3.12 and adblock 2.4.1

Ok thx. I'm not alone.

Maybe a new ABP will solve this.

I have the same conflict with my existing profile.  Unfortunately... I was able to start a new profile and install both X-Notifier 3.3.12 and AdBlock Plus 2.4.1 and have them both show up in my toolbar... which means the problem seems to be with our existing profiles... and not exactly an X-Notifier problem, by itself.

Have the same problem with ABP an X-Notifier. I think this is somehow connected with way how X-Notifier embedding it's icon i Firefox. Just try to enable Customize... The only icon in status bar that cannot be moved is X-Notifier icon. Its permamently fixed. You can drag another x-notifier icon but this default icon is unmovable (only can be disabled in settings). Maybe somehow it overrides Ad Block settings.
