Mediacom Script

I'd like to request a mediacom script for their webmail service.  I know all of the technical settings (pop, smtp, ports, ssl settings, etc.).  I am not versed on how to create a script.  If someone can assist I am happy to provide the needed data.

Thanks!

Maverick

If it supports POP3,  you can use that script (but POP3 can't open Inbox in a tab).

Otherwise, read the post on making requests... http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/node/25

I am using Chrome so there is no POP3 drop down option for some reason.  I have read there is no API for Chrome, Safari, etc. yet.  I think that would solve the problem.  Is there an ETA for a POP3 drop down on Chrome?  If not, I would be happy to place the request.  That would officially allow me to manage all the accounts I care about using X-Notifier!

Sorry (with the Request forum, we can't tell what browser you're using, unless stated... like we can for posts in the Chrome or Firefox forums).

POP3 programming support would have to come from the Chrome/Safari/Opera browser makers, apparently... so requesting a custom script (with a test account) would seem to be the best way to get X-Notifier to check that provider.

There is/are NO ETA for POP/IMAP 'drop down' CH/SF/OP on X-notifier!

Because CH/SF/OP maker do not allowed built in API.
You need to contact browser maker, 'make your voice heard' to add feature on their software,
before Tobwithu can make POP/IMAP 'drop down'  in their software.
Therefore ETA depend on CH/SF/OP to available API in their software.

Why "voice/request"?

Could just as well say "postal/request" or "tweet/request".... what does 'voice' have to do with it... for which "request" isn't sufficient?
(...contace browser maker... might be more clear. ;)

(I think Maverick understands there's no support for POP3 in Chrome's API ... application programming interface ...since he mentioned it in his post.)

Thank you for correct... to make it clear and make sense.

Ah, I see... 'make your voice heard' is better ;)
