Losing Accounts When Clearing Cache/Cookes on FireFox
I've been using this addon for a long time and it has been fantastic.
However, ever since Version 4.02 and Greater I seem to lose the accounts when clearing cache/cookies on the FireFox Broswer.
I also downloaded new addon called X-Notifier Neo and it has the same problem.
Not sure how to use it because I don't want to enter my accounts every time the cookies are cleared.
Any way to fix this?

custom settings for history, cookies
You'll probably need to go to Firefox Options, Privacy, and set "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history", and set exceptions for your email cookies.

RE:Losing Accounts When Clearing Cache/Cookes on FireFox
Make sure you go into Options in CCleaner or any similar program you use to clear history/cookies/etc. and select the xnotifier ones to save, along with the account cookies as well. Also don't forget to 'export' a backup in xnotifier when you have it set up with your accounts/passwords, that way when you have a problem you can reload them quickly..be aware it requires you to password protect the .txt backup.

Losing Accounts
I am having the same issue. Each time I close Firefox I lose all settings and when I re-open I get the X-notifier page. I have deleted all extensions that clear cache and passwords and checked my settings in Firefox. While I do clear my cache upon closing there is nothing checked that indicates passwords should be cleared. This only started today, Sunday May 17, yeaster all was fine. I am using X-notifier version 4.03 and Firefox version 53.0.2. Any help would be appreciated.

Settings...
Are you clearing cookies? Make an exception for xnotifier cookies and perhaps your email provider cookies.

Why do we suddenly have to do
Why do we suddenly have to do all this? This never happened before. I wonder if it could be a FF problem, because I also lose some of my add-on icons when I clear the cache and cookies.

Version 4.x
X-Notifier 4.x is different, because Mozilla is forcing changes to addon programming.... so it affects more than just X-Notifier.
