alice.it doesn't work

Forums:

Today x-notifier v 3.5.19 isn't connecting to my mail box alice.it.

Direct access to mail box with firefox 44.0.2 is OK

Scripte file corrently in use is alice.it(2014-03-28)

Can you check if any update is requested in script file?

I have the same problem a few hours.
The last two months I have often had difficulties to access Alice (also doing manual login), but then they had resolved themselves.
Now, with the manual login, I go into Alice, but I can not with X-Notifier

I had X-notifier on Firefox 7 but since changing to Windows 10, which comes through Google Chrome, I am unable to access any of the email addresses I had on Firefox 7 through X-notifier.  I had given different rescue email addresses for each of the email addresses I had on X-notifier and have had the same message from Google on all of them saying "Someone just used your password to try to sign in to your Google Account."

  I had Google accounts, a Hotmail on and a Yahoo one with different passwords for each, and cannot get into any of them now.

Does anyone please have any suggestions?  Thank you.

First... whenever you post about a different subject... you should start a new 'topic' (go to the 'Forums' link at top of the page, and click 'Add new forum topic', then enter a Subject and then  choose an appropriate forum from the drop-down menu) ...for your post because it does not relate to this topic... which is about the alice.it script. Ok?

Ok, now... I  have to say that I am using X-Notifier in Chrome and in Firefox, both on Windows 10 and they work just fine. 
Can you go to hotmail.com and to yahoo.com and login to your accounts directly?

Unfortunately there are some other people who are having problems similar to  yours with Gmail accounts and that error message about someone using your password... which is probably just a software bug.    So...  instead of posting to a new topic, perhaps you should just look at this one (link below) and post there if you want to discuss the gmail problem...  http://xnotifier.tobwithu.com/dp/node/3123

Otherwise, if I had those problems, I would probably try the following steps...  delete the X-Notifier account definitions and uninstall X-Notifier... then restart Google Chrome (the 'Desktop' verson)... and then re-install X-Notifier, and redefine my accounts in X-Notifier.  If that works, then I would go back to X-Notifier 'Options' and use the 'Export' feature to save my accounts to a file (it will be encrypted)... then, if there's a problem later, you could go back to X-Notifier 'Options' again and Import that saved file, to fix some problems.

I did not know how to post on this forum so apologise.

I am unable to log into my any of my gmail addresses, my hotmail.com or my yahoo.co.uk not can I get into X-notifier Options on Firefox.  I have spent the last week following instructions, even to being up all night.

One problem to try and get a new password is that the retrieval email has also been closed by Google.  I managed to get one gmail but they wanted a code number to send me by SMS and I do not have a smart phone and they insisted that the numher for my old cellphone was wrong.

I am an old woman and I cannot stay up all night yet again trying to sort this out.  I thought someone here would be able to help me.  This is the only email address I can access apart from my IP one.  I have lost ten gmail addresses, one Hotmail and one Yahoo. 

So I came one here as it is the only one I can access in the hope someone could help.  I apologise if I was incorrect in not starting a new question but I am 74 years old and do not understand even how to uninstall X-notifier.  But if I do that I will not be able to get into "options" to try yet again.

And all my Add-ons.

Well, I have to ask... how did you orginally get X-Notifier installed and the accounts set up?
Is there no one (technically inclined) who can help you to straighten out these problems?
Could a local computer repair store/technician help?

I provided direct test you as suggesting for alice.it and my user name and password are correct, I can log the mail box. In addition I deleted x-notifier and recreted it again. It's working fine fot hotmail.com but not fot alice.it.
As TIM.it, that is the owner of alice.it, updated some pages of theier services recently I suppose, and I'm sure, that somethig is changed also in alice.it that has a script dated  march 2014 and I suppose it need an updating.
I have also posted a script request into the forum under "new script request" section it's 2 days but I have received no reply up to date.
May be that this should need more time.
If you kmou a shortest way to operate please keep me informed.

I suppose you can use the Script Request method, but I would email the developer at xndevel@gmail.com with a Subject: line like "Alice.it script broken, needs update" ...and if the developer needs a 'test account', he will let you know... hopefully... you can either trust him with your account username/password (you can change it after the script is fixed/updated) or you could create for him a new test email username/password.. for him to use so he can test and fix the script.   That's about all I can suggest... unless another very skilled user in the forum could help... (I only know of one).  I'm not sure how the developer, Tobwithu, is doing... as I have been busy myself and away from these forums.

Just yesterday I wrote to tobwithu providing my email alice.it. For him I have created an email to create the aruba.it scripts so I know that he's someone who trust. I hope he answer me.
