But alternatively, I could invite/sponsor Tobwithu (or you or both) to become Mixi members. Then he would have his own account for testing or whatever. I do not have any mobile phone number registered on Mixi, so I think you can become a member with just an email address. (Things may have changed since when I first became a member, but I have not been forced to add a phone number or phone email address - so far.) By the way, welcome to Japan! You can change your password before sending to Tobwithu (the developer), or after, or both... in any case, you could send a username/password to xndevel@gmail.com ...(that is the same support email address listed in the FAQ forum in the post about when X-Notifier does not work with your account).
CFBancroft and I are just other users of X-Notifier, like yourself.

So Tobwithu has "loan" my account for 3 years, I almost never open Mixi because I can NOT read Japanese. I just do it for my wife that all.
Can you (tomtinker) create new test account? without any "force phone number or phone email address" and email to xndevel@gmail.com with xnotifier@mixi.co.jp as example and make it up password for Tobwithu?
Three year ago my wife help me to create my own account and loan to Tobwithu, and with your new account so it will help Tobwithu with TWO account to test!

Tobwithu has my personal User/Password.
He already check and said nothing wrong...
He said I need to click on birth date correct before MIXI work again.
So far it does not works... so YOU (tomtinker) can give your Personal user and password and have him look into...
when he is done and you can change to other password later.
I know there is NO TEST ACCOUNT allowd on Mixi, that is hard on us.
Everything tie to email/phone such as ezweb softbank docomo etc. to get Mixi ...
It is up to you if you willing to "loan" your REAL Mixi account to Tobwithu?
Before you do... please re-password for Tobwithu... when he done... you can go back to old password.
