XNotifier takes me to wrong email account

About an hour ago, XNotifier showed an unusually large number of unread emails in one of my email accounts. I clicked on the context menu item to take me to that account, but I was taken to an entirely different person's account. I was logged in, so I could actually see his emails. I don't know this person, never corresponded with him, to the best of my knowledge.

Before contacting you, I did the following:
1. Changed the password on my email account, and in the XNotifier configuration.
2. Deleted the account from the XNotifier accounts list and created a new entry.
3. Shut down my browser (Firefox 33.1) and restarted.
4. Made sure I have the latest version of XNotifier (3.5.2).

None of those steps made any difference.

I hope you can see that this is a serious security problem. How many other people are inadvertently directed to my email account(s)?

Please advise.

While gathering info for this report, I found that there is a new version of Firefox available. I updated to FF 34.0, but the problem is still occurring.

I have disabled XNotifier until a resolution is found.

One item that might help the developer is to know with which email provider you are experiencing this unusual behavior.
