FIrefox 31 ubuntu 14.04 x-notifier causing some sites to not load competely

This is an odd issue for me:

Since the latest updates in Firefox ((31)) on Ubuntu 14.04 some sites do not load fully ie:

thechive.com - discus continullly shows spinning cursor

aliexpress.com - does not load all pictures on scroll down

landsend.com - some pages will not allow you click buttons

However I followed all the FIrefox trouble shooting ((all above examples worked ok in firefox safemode)) and I disabled all extension 1 by  1 until I was only left with x-notififer and when I disable it ((and restart firefox)) all the above examples work fine once again.

I am not sure I understand the connection of x-notifier to this problem so any suggestions would be great as I love x-notifer and would love to keep using it.

Security settings will sometimes block Disqus... causing the endless spinning.
(These problems are not showing up for me on FF 31 in Windows.)

You might try uninstalling X-Notifier, restart the browser and reinstall X-Notifier.

Thanks I think I just discovered it is actually a deeper problem in FIrefox. I was in "safe mode' and the problem reoccured so I think it is NOT an x-notifier problem. It was just timing when I was testing with the firefox troubleshooting guide.
