Yahoo account shows phantom emails.

In my yahoo acount I have no unread emails, yet Notifier shows 2 unread emails. I have not checked either setting - to show masseges from spam, or to only show messages from inbox. Unitll a few days ago it only showed one email unread, now it shows 2. I checked in Yahoo and I only have unread in spam which is more than 2.

When "Notify inbox only" is checked, these phanotm messages go away.

I think that your phantom emails are hiding in your Yahoo Messenger folder.  Bet you 5 cents.  With the "Notify inbox only" option turned Off (and therefore, "notify All folders"), X-notifier is also reporting those annoying spam-like messages that are hiding in your Yahoo Messenger.

On the yahoo webmail page, if there are Messenger messages, the Messenger folder does not get Bold, so you might not think to look in there.  That's a yahoo problem.

So you use X-notifier to open your Yahoo webmail, but there doesn't appear to be any unread emails, even though X-notifier says there are.  That's when you also have to check the Messenger folder.
