How about adding 'Outlook.com' as a notifer account?

This is a wonderful add-on which I've grown very dependent upon to keep me apprised of email status

"across-the-board" while I'm working within other areas on the net and my PC!  Rich with features, each

extremely valuable in its own right...  Any plans on making 'Outlook.com'  a standard account to check when

selecting (via options) the various emails on which I'd like to stay abreast?

Your thoughts, considerations and obvious hard work are really appreciated!!!

You can use 'Outlook.com' with current 'Hotmail' script already.

(Related to an earlier post I made today)

The problem I've encountered is when X-Notifier resolves to "mail.live.com" (for Hotmail) it only goes to my Outlook.com inbox about half the time.  If I type "outlook.com" in the URL window Firefox resolves to my inbox 100% of the time.

Correct about choosing Hotmail as the account type.

And when entering your Outlook.com account information into X-notifier, for Username, don't just enter billgates.  Use the whole email address, such as billgates@outlook.com.

That should do it.

It is not possible to put just "billgates"... the Hotmail script automatically appends:  @hotmail.com

So if only the username was provided, then only billgates@hotmail.com would be checked, never billgates@outlook.com

Larry indicates a problem with live.com vs outlook.com, but perhaps it is hotmail vs outlook.  IF he manually logs in to outlook.com in a tab, then perhaps X-Notifier might pull up tab to outlook... sometimes (between email checks, if envelope icon is clicked) ...and then hotmail at other times. So your suggestion is still good for him to check his account definition username.
