Refresh issue

Forums:

Hi, since few weeks X-NOTIFIER doesnot refresh mail counters.

When I open firefox, it's scanning and indicating correctly numbers of mail in each box, but it does not recalculate automatically when I have read a mail or if I receive one.

I made lots of checking (cookies, cache, reinstal, updates ...)

 

Other fellows in same troubles?

how to solve that?

and even when I click on a mail box which counter is not up to date, the mail box opens in a new FF window and i can see number + X new messages but counter does not refresh.

Well, as Carpadipo51 said, you could right-click on the X-Notifier icon and then click "Check Now" to test and see if it updates the counts.  But... it seems from your description that it checks properly when you first start Firefox... but it's failing to check again after that??   You might go into X-Notifier "Options" and check the settings and account options.  

Under the General tab in X-Notifier Options, make sure the 'Reset counter when opening messages' checkbox has a checkmark.
And verify the 'Check interval' on each account (and the default).

Otherwise sounds like something is blocking the mail check (after startup). New security software?
