Whats the status on getting X-notifier back in the Chrome webstore?

Does anyone know if there are plans for Google to allow it back into the Chrome webstore? Did they ever say it will never be allowed/why it was removed? Please respond when possible. Thank you and happy holidays.

Google probably doesn't like the 'Superfish' ad revenue product included with X-Notifier...
...but Superfish is easily disabled by users, in Options.

Does the Chrome webstore matter all that much?  
It doesn't seem to concern Tobwithu, the author of X-Notifier.
(Perhaps there is a period of contractual obligations.)

Google:  x-notifier  ...and the main homepage for X-Notifier is the second result after the Mozilla/Firefox extension page.
