Outlook & Yahoo mail notification fail on Chrome when "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" is enabled
I'm currently using X-notifier for 3 accounts: A Gmail account, a Yahoo account and an Outlook account. If I enabled the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" Chrome setting, and close Chrome for a while, and then (after 10-20 minutes) reopen it, Outlook and Yahoo accounts keep in a condition of continue searching for mails without success and blocks X-notifier which shows a small squared red icon instead of the # of mails
If I uncheck the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" option, X-notifier resumes working normally.

What apps do you have?
I installed X-notifier only, toggled the option.
X-notifier works fine regardless of the option.

Currently Checker Plus for
Currently Checker Plus for Google Calendar, IETab Multi (Enhance), Gmelius, Google Talk Plugin, Gmail offline (apart from X-Notifier of course).
It seems that if you do not add some app running in background like -for instance- Gmail offline, Chrome does not effectively activate the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" setting.

I disabled Gmaill offline and activated only Checker Plus for Google Calendar which is another app that works in background when Chrome is closed and noticed the same problem.

I installed X-notifier and Checker Plus for Google Calendar.
But I could not reproduce the problem.
As I know, Checker Plus for Google Calendar is not an app but extension.

In the General Tab of Checker
In the General Tab of Checker Plus, if you activate the "Run in background when Google Chrome is closed" option it becomes a background application.
What I'm trying to suggest is that it seems that X-notifier fails when there is a running background app in Chrome
It also seems that Chrome does not enable background apps services until you have one background app working (at least that indicates the little chrome icon near the clock which is not visible until you have a running background app even if you tick the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" check),

I could reproduce it in
I could reproduce it in several machines under these conditions:
1. There must be some Chrome application running in background so that you have the Chrome Background task icon running in the System Tray
2. Add 3 accounts: A gmail account, and Outlook.com account and a Yahoo account. In my tests the gmail account has a 1 minute frequency while the others 5 minutes. Also the Gmail account has the check spam option enabled.
3. Reboot the machine. After restart, open Chrome and after 15 minutes you will notice that only Gmail account is checked and the others turned red.
Thank you!
