Been trying this for days...

I've been searching for the solution for days, but nothing yet.

I'm using Chrome for Mac Version 34.0.1847.76 beta, with the X-Notifier found at chrome-extension://cdfjbkbddpfnoplfhceolpopfoepleco/options.html (I couldn't say which version it is, but as I redownloaded it today, I assume it must be the latest...)

Anyway, Gmail and Yahoo mail notification is working fine, but the built-in Hotmail script isn't working for ***@msn.com and ***@outlook.com email address.

When I click on the notifier in the toolbar, the four emails appear, Gmail and Yahoo are black with the logos, but Hotmail (***@msn.com) and Hotmail (***@outlook.com) appear either greyed out or red, depending on which one was clicked on last. When clicked on, each address logs in and the correct page is shown.

I cannot for the life of me work out what's going wrong - even when I activated Google's and Yahoo's two-step authentication, it carried on working after I entered a new verification code. I have already tried the usual suspects - uninstalled and reinstalled the notifier, deleted the caches, logged out and logged in to all my email accounts.

Please can someone guide me in the right direction to fix this?

Please send me the log file.

Unfortunately, I have tried and tried to download the log file, and it just stops with Chrome. (The icon in the dock contains a white disc with the number 1 in it)

I have logged into all three accounts, and all three log in automatically, even after renewing my Chrome profile.

Sorry, but this is taking an inordinate amount of my time.

For whatever reason, the outlook / msn accounts just stopped working, and the log file doesn't download.

Not really sure what to do, but to uninstall.

Just so it's clear... (and not to insult anyone)...

In Chrome, to generate a log file:

Click the X-Notifier envelope icon...
...and a pop-up menu appears.

Hold the Shift key and click on "Help" at the bottom of the pop-up menu...
...and the pop-up menu goes away.

Again, Click the X-Notifier envelope icon...
...and a pop-up menu appears...
...now, click "Check Now"...
...and the pop-up menu goes away, but X-Notifier starts checking... so let it finish.

Once again, Click the X-Notifier envelope icon...
...and a pop-up menu appears...
...and perhaps, some accounts are in red... (this is what you want to 'log')...
...so -this- time, just click "Log" at the bottom of the pop-up menu (NO 'Shift' key necessary).
And... a window will pop up, so you can save the "xn-chrome.log" file somewhere on your computer (you decide).
Save the file.

THEN... you can go to your email program and address a new email to:  xndevel@gmail.com   ...add any message you want to the body of the email, and...  'attach' the xn-chrome.log file to the email ...and then send it.

The X-Notifier admin, Tobwithu, will analyze it and try to find the problem.

Just thought I'd make it clear how to use the logging function.
